SILVER BELLS IN THE CITY

The Salamanca Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its Annual Silver Bells Festival held in honor of Salamanca's own Ray Evans, lyricist of the famous Christmas song Silver Bells. With the help of the community, businesses and organizations we anticipate another wonderful holiday event. Silver Bells has become a community favorite that is the perfect kick-off to the holiday season and holiday shopping.


Silver Bells Holiday Craft Show, Nov. 27-28
This year our Holiday Craft Show will take place at Prospect Elementary School on Saturday & Sunday, November 27-28, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Experience the magnificent and unique shopping at the many art & craft vendor booths found. This event will provide you the opportunity to find that unique Christmas gift for your loved ones.


Silver Bells in the City Tree Lighting Ceremony, Dec. 3

Join in the fun at Jefferson Street Park located next to Rite Aid in Salamanca the first weekend in December. Celebration of Light up the City will occur at approximately 6 p.m. Mayor Jeffrey Pond’s proclamation will help kick off the spirit of the season as we watch the whole park come to life at the official tree lighting ceremony. Come and enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies while listening to the Community Choir sing your favorite Christmas carols.

Silver Bells in the City Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 18
The whole community, especially the area children, will enjoy this fun-filled morning meeting Santa Claus while eating their favorite breakfast at Myer’s Steakhouse & Inn, 460 Wildwood Avenue, Salamanca on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
