Mission Statement:

 

"To provide financial services and working capital support to new and existing small native businesses, corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures in which enrolled members of Seneca Nation of Indians own majority interest and are active in the conduct of business."

 

The SNIEDC works to coordinate the Seneca Nation of Indians' commitment to regional economic development on Seneca Nation of Indians land by providing technical and financial assistance through low-fixed rate, low down payment, short-term financing.

 

They also work to become proactive in SNIEDC's mission to stimulate creation, retention, and expansion of local native Seneca businesses in our local economy.

 

The SNIEDC offers two loan programs, as well as business classes for Seneca entrepreneurs.  The classes include:

 

  • Native American Business Training - An Introductory Course in Business Ownership Basics, presented by the Jamestown SBDC.

  • Invitation to Grow Your Business - presented by SSIC of Syracuse University

  • On-Site Weekly Sessions for one-on-one business counseling, presented by the Jamestown SBDC.
